It is a periodical scientific publication intended for economists who want to publish their articles on literature studies, research and scientific development in Islamic banking (see Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal are published every six months (2 issues per year, in June and December)
Banque Syar’i: Jurnal Ilmiah Perbankan Syariah works closely with the AFEBIS Journal Forum (Indonesian Islamic Economics Journal Forum), the Islamic Economist Association (Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam) and Islamic Economic Society (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah) which provides editorial members, peer reviewers, and authors, both are professional associations related to journal's aims and scopes. The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer review, which means that both the reviewer's and author's identities are concealed from the reviewers and vice versa.
