Sosialisasi Tabungan Emas Pegadaian Syariah di Desa Air Putih Bengkulu Tengah

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the understanding and interest of the community toward the Pegadaian Syariah Gold Savings product in Air Putih Village, Talang Empat District, Central Bengkulu Regency. The research employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, engaging both the local community and Pegadaian Syariah CPS Bengkulu in socialization and educational activities. The program was implemented over four months, from March to June 2025, through several stages: site survey, socialization, and evaluation of understanding. The results indicate a significant improvement in community awareness of the gold savings product, increasing from 0% before the activity to 76% afterward. Additionally, community interest in opening gold savings accounts rose from 0% to 20%. These findings demonstrate that participatory socialization activities can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen Islamic financial literacy and promote investment practices aligned with Islamic principles at the village level.
